Nahanni was born in a treeplanting camp in remote British Columbia to a family of artists and musicians who found their way into reforestation work in the 70's and 80's. Photos and prints from this era are by her father Daniel James during his time running Nahanni Reforestation, his planting company. She has worked in design and building for most of her life, including a farm for her rescued Mediterranean donkeys.
This collection is inspired in part by her family history and style in music, sailing and treeplanting. It is designed and made in the Columbia George in Washington State. It is a combination of one-of-a-kind, made-to-order and small in-stock batches.
